Why were humans born?
There is no clear answer to this question.
The reason remains elusive, forever beyond our grasp.
And yet, even within the unknown, we feel.
Through instincts and abilities that guide us, the reason for life is not explained but sensed.
Life and art are not separate.
They are both journeys of sensing resonance within the unknown and following where it leads.
I live out that process, leaving traces of it in my work.
It is not about knowing the reason, but living in pursuit of it.
That pursuit itself is the meaning of existence and the reason for creation.
인간은 왜 태어났는가?
이 물음에 대한 명확한 해답은 존재하지 않는다.
그 이유를 끝내 포착하지 못한다.
그러나 알 수 없음 속에서도 우리는 느낀다.
본능과 능력이 우리를 이끄는 방향 속에서 삶의 이유는 설명되지 않은 채로 감각적으로 드러난다.
삶과 예술은 다르지 않다.
알수 없음에서 울림을 느끼고 그 울림을 좇는 과정이다.
나는 그 과정을 살아내며 동시에 작품으로 남긴다.
이유를 아는 것이 아니라 이유를 따라 사는 것 그것이 곧 존재의 의미이며 창작의 이유다.

UNIVEYS
UNIVEYS is a compound word of Convey the Universe.
Literally, it means “to deliver the universe,” but here, the “universe” stands for good signals.
In other words, UNIVEYS means “those who carry and share good signals.”
It embraces the vision of becoming a messenger of hope, delivering signs that can brighten the paths of others.
This vision takes shape in many forms:
from painting exhibitions on the streets, to dancing with elders in Tapgol Park,
to sharing music tastes with strangers and bringing a sense of romance and vitality into people’s lives.
Yang Jingyeong’s music, dance, and paintings are all guided by this same spirit.
They are not separate activities, but living expressions of the UNIVEYS vision.

UNIVEYS는 Convey the Universe의 합성어입니다.
직역하면 “우주를 전달하다”이지만, 여기서 ‘우주’는 곧 좋은 신호를 뜻합니다.
즉, UNIVEYS는 “좋은 신호를 전하고 나누는 사람들”을 의미합니다.
희망을 전하는 메신저가 되어, 다른 이들의 길을 밝히는 징표를 전달한다는 비전을 담고 있습니다.
이 비전은 여러 형태로 드러납니다.
거리에서의 그림 전시, 탑골공원에서 어르신들과 함께 추는 춤,
낯선 이들과 음악 취향을 나누며 삶에 낭만과 살아있음을 불어넣는 순간들.
양진경이 하는 음악, 춤, 그림 역시 모두 같은 정신으로 움직입니다.
이것들은 따로 떨어진 활동이 아니라, UNIVEYS라는 비전을 살아내는 표현들입니다.
